Take the offense or Not🤔🤷🏽‍♀️

I saw a post today that blew my mind. It was a diagram on “How to handle offense” by Amy Hale. I have clearly fallen on the “ tell people about it” side more times than one. Why do we do this? Victimize ourselves and make the other person this villain 🦹‍♀️ who came to destroy us?? Why don’t we ever see things from the offender’s perspective? Truthfully, it makes my feelings more valid to me when I act like the other person did me sooooo wrong. Then you know how we get when the listening ear agrees with us. One “ girl he so wrong” or “ man I can’t believe he did that” and we are on cloud ☁️ 9🤷🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️. I wonder what would’ve happened in so many situations if I chose the “go to God DIRECTLY” option 1st ? Less hurt for sure. I don’t have to worry about God reshaping or resharing the story. The added bonus? He provides peace and the answer to the offense, even if sometimes its as simple as “letting it go.” The entrepreneurial personal brand side of my life has brought a lot of offense. However, instead of going down the line in this blog, I’ll continue to go DIRECTLY to God with my offenses and concerns. You should too!! Don’t let the opinions or actions of others offend you to the point where you want to give up!!! Keep going!! God will see you through it all.💃💋💋-Farrah Shelane
